Description:. The painting features a CAP Cessna 182 from the Maryland Wing being intercepted near Washington, D.C., by an Air Force F-16 from Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.

The original painting was unveiled on September 20, 2016 in a presentation that included the artist (former CAP cadet) Rick Broome, CAP National Commander Maj. Gen. Joe Vazquez, Secretary of the Air Force Deborah James, and Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein at the Pentagon. The painting commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Civil Air Patrol as well as the "Total Force" partnership. It is permanently displayed at the Pentagon.
